Paddle Your Own Canoe

Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $30 per person (2 person minimum)
Minimum age 12. Solo or intermediate classes by arrangement.

What you will learn

  • How to move efficiently in the water
  • Basic canoe dynamics/ how a boat moves in the water
  • Balance/ feeling comfortable on the water
  • Getting in and out of a canoe safely
  • Basic strokes and maneuvers
  • Practice in the bow and the stern
  • One rescue if people are feeling adventurous!
  • Time to paddle and practice skills

Kayaks are for Everyone!

Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $30 per person (2 person minimum)
Minimum age 12. Solo or intermediate classes by arrangement.

  • Getting in an out of a kayak safely
  • How to move efficiently in the water
  • Basic kayak dynamics/ how a boat moves in the water

Tour Hay Lake

Duration: 4 hours
Cost: $75 per person (2 person minimum)
Minimum age 6 (with adult accompaniment).
