Going Green

Living an environmentally-sensitive lifestyle is second nature when you live on the edge of one of Canada’s greatest parks. Beyond recycling and composting, using compact flourescent light bulbs and minimizing night lighting to keep our skies dark, our log cabins were built with locally grown trees long before “buy local” was a slogan.

Lakefront Cabin #2 is scent-free, and only uses natural cleaning supplies.

As a sign of our involvement, we are members of the Audobon Green Leaf™ Eco-Rating Program.
